  • Having perspective is to have the ability to approach situations with compassion and empathy.
  • To have perspective is to know that you don’t fully appreciate what you have. This appreciation is only known when these things are taken away or lost, abruptly and without prior warning. So cherish every moment for what it is, rather than what it could be or what you expected of that moment. Try to firstly live through these moments as well as enjoy them with the people who you hold dearest to you. Live each day as if it were your last. Simply put, you should try to enjoy the passing seconds that would more often than not be forgotten.
  • Try to always handle view situations or conflict with the proper perspective. This will allow you to handle things appropriately and without negative consequences.

  • Appreciate the little things, the smallest of victories, as well as every laughable moment or passing smile. These small and somewhat insignificant things have the ability to turn into bigger things. Things that can have a meaningful impact on your life. It all matters in the grand scheme of things.
  • Don’t take anything for granted: small moments, unimportant situations, and everyday people. As you never their importance, or the role they may be playing in your life. Nobody can say for sure that they know when things will be taken from them or lost entirely. Time is fickle and selfish and it takes without warning. So appreciate things and people within the moment, while you have them. 
  • Always be able to see things from both sides, to have perspective in all situations throughout the day and throughout your life. Perspective allows us to have empathy, which can then allow you as a person to put yourself in someone else’s shoes. You will be able to see the situation at hand from their perspective or from their personal point of view. 
  • Perspective comes with age as well as maturity and can come from life experience.

TO HAVE PERSPECTIVE IS TO HAVE EMPATHY.

  • Always watch your tongue and when necessary, pause before you speak and think about what you are going to say. It’s important to have empathy for yourself, but to have empathy for others in today’s society will undoubtedly separate you from the rest, growing above all your competitors and peers.
